    Mounting Instructions

    1. Locate area on boat in close proximity to cleats on vessel.
    2. Make sure you will be drilling one 1 1/8″ hole, per installed MajicLINE™, in a thicker, stronger portion of the hull, ensuring there is plenty of space below deck for it to entirely function.
    3. Drill 1 1/8″ hole at desired location. Both round and paddle-bits will work. Measure twice, cut once!
    4. Unscrew top of durable plastic button that is attached to the patented loop.
    5. Position the new unit under the vessel deck or gun whatle and thread the loop with the plastic button-post still in place on the end of the loop through the newly-drilled 1 1/8″ hole and pull line from above until unit hole collar rises into place and snugly into hole. Above the vessel’s deck, slide loop through 316L steel screw-top, screw the screw-top in place through 1 1/8″ hole into female threading in unit below deck. Reattach plastic cap and securely screw back onto plastic button post until hand-tight. Allow the line to retract all the way back into the unti below deck. The button top should fit snugly in the 316L stainless-steel screw-top where it will be ready for its next use.

      Use of Locktite:

      Apply Locktite Threadlocker ot the threaded screw ap starting from the bottom of the thread towards the top. Apply as much Locktite as needed as use case may vary between watercraft application.

      DISCLAIMER

      Line needs to wind up secured from the cleat of the boat deck. Do not rely upon the unit itself to take the lead and the pressure. This could result in hairline fractures in the hull if overburdened. ALWAYS SECURE LINE BETWEEN BOAT CLEAT AND DOCK CLEAT.
